Two platforms live in production

Applied AI for the businesses that actually move things.

Forus Intelligence Labs is a product studio building software for Indian commerce and logistics — the freight brokers, distributors, manufacturers and traders who run on WhatsApp, spreadsheets and twelve open browser tabs. We replace the tabs. Two platforms are shipping today.

The portfolio

Two products.
One thesis.

Indian SMEs are not short of software — they are short of software that speaks their language, knows their pincodes, files their GST and answers in a chat box. Each venture below is a live, production platform owned and operated by the Labs.

FreightCompare

Live Public beta Logistics

Compare shipping rates instantly — then book the winner without leaving the page.

A rate-comparison and booking layer for Indian freight. Enter a pickup and drop pincode and FreightCompare prices the lane across carriers, part-load and full-truckload vendors and on-demand fleets — side by side, in seconds. Pick one and it runs the entire booking: OTP verification, vendor dispatch over email and WhatsApp, and a confirmation to your customer. No phone tree, no six quotations sitting in six inboxes.

FC AI copilot

Describe the shipment in plain language — or simply talk to it. Talk Mode holds a spoken conversation and fills the form as you speak.

Live multi-carrier pricing

Real-time quotes across the vendor network, cheapest option surfaced first, every alternative shown right beside it.

Quick Booking

One-click instant dispatch for shipments up to 200 kg, priced live against on-demand fleets including Porter and Rapido.

Bring your own vendors

Add and verify your existing transporters and FTL partners, then compare their rates alongside the open market.

Freight calculator

Volumetric and chargeable weight, ODA surcharges and lane economics worked out before you commit to a carrier.

Bookings that close themselves

OTP-verified confirmation, automatic vendor notification, customer email, and live driver-assignment updates.

Live ERP Multi-tenant

The whole business — from first enquiry to a signed-off trial balance.

ForusBiz is a full operations suite for Indian trading, distribution and manufacturing companies: the ones that outgrew spreadsheets, were quoted a six-figure ERP implementation, and quietly went back to the spreadsheets. Sales, purchase, inventory, production and a real double-entry accounting core live in one multi-tenant workspace with role-based access. A single record carries the whole chain — a won lead becomes a proforma invoice, a delivery challan, a tax invoice and a ledger entry without anyone retyping it.

Sales

Leads and pipeline, quotations with generated PDFs and tracked email delivery, proforma and tax invoices, customer books, sales targets and a rep leaderboard.

Purchase

Structured enquiries out to multiple vendors, a side-by-side comparison of what comes back, purchase orders, purchase cart and per-vendor email tracking.

Inventory

SKU library with categories and brands, incoming and outgoing movements, multi-location stock, rejected items, and warranty & service records.

Manufacturing

Production runs that consume components and post finished goods straight back into stock and costing.

Accounting

Chart of accounts, day book, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet and cash flow — plus GST, TDS, credit notes and bank reconciliation.

Control & insight

Receivables and payables ageing, outstanding balances, budgets, cost centres, and SKU analytics for fast, slow and dead stock.

The shared layer

Different products.
The same spine.

Both platforms sit on one internal foundation. That is why a two-product studio ships like a much larger one: the hard, boring, India-specific parts get solved once and reused everywhere.

Conversational copilots

Domain-tuned assistants that take an instruction in ordinary language, ask only for what is genuinely missing, and complete the transaction — rather than handing back a link to a form.

Voice as a first-class input

Talk Mode is built for a warehouse floor and a truck cabin, not a quiet office. Speech in, structured records out, with a typed fallback the moment the microphone is denied or the network wobbles.

India-native rails

Pincode-level geography and serviceability, ODA zones, GST and TDS treatment, state codes, HSN, and WhatsApp as a delivery channel that is treated as seriously as email.

Document engine

Quotations, proforma invoices, tax invoices and challans rendered to branded PDFs with QR codes, dispatched by email, and tracked afterwards so you know whether anyone actually opened it.

Multi-tenant & role-aware

Company-scoped data isolation, granular role-based access control, invitations and approval flows, and single-session enforcement that signs you out when the account appears on another device.

Analytics that provoke a decision

Not another dashboard. Slow-moving and dead stock, receivables ageing, lane cost drift and rep performance — each surfaced as something specific you can act on this week.

How we work

Build for the operator,
not the org chart.

Every feature in both products traces back to somebody who was doing that job by hand at eleven at night. That is the only brief we take seriously.

01 — OBSERVE

Sit with the workaround

Before writing anything we find the spreadsheet, the WhatsApp group and the printed register that the business already runs on. The workaround is the specification; it just has not been written down yet.

02 — NARROW

Ship one painful thing

FreightCompare began as a single rate comparison. ForusBiz began with a quotation PDF that emailed itself. Each earned the right to the next module by being genuinely used first.

03 — CONNECT

Never make them retype it

Enquiry to quotation to invoice to ledger. Search to booking to vendor dispatch to customer confirmation. Re-entry is where trust in software dies, so we design the whole chain or none of it.

04 — STAY HONEST

Say what it cannot do yet

FreightCompare carries a beta notice on rates in production. We would rather post the caveat and keep the customer than round the edges off and lose them the first time a number is off.

Under the hood

Boring technology,
deliberately.

Modern typed React front ends, code-split down the route, served from the edge. We spend our novelty budget on the domain model and the AI layer — never on the build tooling.

Come see what we have shipped.

Both platforms are live right now. Open them, price a lane, raise a quotation — then tell us what is missing. That feedback is how each of these got built in the first place.
